The 30 Day Million Step Challenge
May 1st - May 30th 2026
The Million Step Challenge is a 30-day endurance walk from Maidenhead in Berkshire to the summit of Snowdon in North Wales

Over 480 miles, we aim to take one million steps to raise money for life changing causes and prove that ordinary people can do extraordinary things.

One Step Can Change a Life

On 1st May 2026, I will begin walking 480 miles from Maidenhead to the summit of Snowdon in a challenge that will push both body and mind to the limit.
Over 30 days, I will attempt to reach one million steps — all to raise £5,000 for charity,
The Alexander Devine Childrens Hospice
This challenge is about more than endurance. It’s about proving that ordinary people can do extraordinary things, and using that effort to help Alexander Devine Children's Hospice, that support families, children, and people facing some of life’s toughest challenges.

Every day of the journey will be live streamed on TikTok, allowing supporters to follow the walk in real time, see the progress unfold step by step, and be part of the journey from start to finish.
Supporters will be able to watch the miles unfold, see the communities along the route, and witness the final push to the summit of Snowdon.

Every donation — no matter the size — helps turn steps into real support for people who need it most.
The 30 Day Million Step Challenge
On 1st May 2026, I will begin the first ever 30 Day Million Step Challenge — a 30-day
endurance walk from Maidenhead in Berkshire to the summit of Snowdon in North Wales.
Over the course of the challenge, I will walk approximately 480 miles, aiming to reach one million steps along the way.
This journey is about far more than distance. It’s about proving that ordinary people can do extraordinary things when they take the first step.
Not long ago, my health and life were in a very different place. This challenge is my way of turning that around — and using that journey to raise money and awareness for causes that genuinely change lives.
Throughout the challenge, I will be sharing updates, progress, and real moments from the road so you can follow every step of the journey.
Where Your Donation Goes
This challenge supports two important causes:
💖 Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice (Priority)
If you can only support one cause, please choose this one.
Alexander Devine provides vital care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Donations made through their official JustGiving page include Gift Aid, meaning your contribution goes even further.
Your support here has an immediate and direct impact on families who need it most.
Million Step Foundation CIC
The Million Step Foundation is a Community Interest Company focused on long-term impact — supporting health, wellbeing, and community initiatives across the UK.
Built on real experience, including work as a peer support worker, NHS volunteering, and supporting young people in residential care, the foundation is about creating opportunities and support where it’s needed most.
Funds raised here will help:
• Support mental health and wellbeing
• Create community-based health initiatives
• Support children, young people, and families
• Build long-term programmes that continue beyond this challenge
No one involved takes wages from these donations — everything is reinvested into helping others.
